At this time the Social Security field offices will be open. However, they will only provide limited services. The local field offices will provide services such as: applying for benefits, appealing a denial of benefits, changing your address or direct deposit information, replacing a lost or missing payment, process any changes in living arrangements or income for SSI or change a representative payee.
Further, at this time the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, is open and conducting hearings. If you have a hearing scheduled please ensure that you go to the hearing at the appropriate time.
Lastly, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income payments will continue with no change in payment dates at this time.
